This was definitely not the last series of workshops. We had so much fun and we learnt a lot!!!

THE FINAL EVENING
After three successful workshops, we have come to the end of this series 1 of Film Pocket Films. All the participants have learnt something from the project and they are going to share it on Friday the 29th at 6pm in Black Pearl (Scheelevägen 15A, Lund).  What will happen? :) We will have screening of the short films which the groups or individuals have created, we will have a discussion, a chit chat, mingling, snacks, and some drinks. And finally - a little interactive surprise ;).  So come, bring your own drinks if you like (booz), bring your friends and good mood and let´s Film Pocket Films!

Dear Film Pocket Filmers!!!

We now have clear information!

Time and date:
The workshops will take place on the following dates:
21st of November 16 - 19:00 
22nd of November 16 - 19:00 
26th of November 16 - 19:00 
The course will conclude with an evening event showcasing YOUR short films on the 29th of November at 20:00 

Place:
Black Pearl, Student Innovation Center, Scheelevägen 15 A, Lund

Cost:
100 SEK for all three workshops and final evening (the money will go towards teacher remuneration)

Where to register:
Send an e-mail to filmpocketfilms@gmail.com, add which system you use - android/iOS + Windows/Mac, your mobile phone number, and if you have any experience with video making/editing.

What to bring:
Bring your mobile devices (cell-phone, iPads, mini iPads, tablets,…) with either the iMovie program or/and the 1 Second Everyday program downloaded in your devices.
Bring the cables with which you can connect your device to your computers.
Bring your computers with either Adobe Premiere or FinalCut downloaded (important for the editing workshop).

In order to save your spot (only 25 places), you will have to pay in advance - we will come with that info soon.

Mohammed Al Majdalawi - our final workshop leader!!!

“My name is Mohammed Al Majdalawi. I am a twenty five year old Gazan, living in Jabalia refugee camp in the north of Gaza.
I studied  academic diploma called Social Innovation in Digital Context at lund University and I presented my graduation project three weeks ago at Lund University, it was a documentary film about women´s situation in Gaza.”

Mohammed is a filmmaker, freelance journalist and a peace activist who has been making documentaries since 2005. He has presented his films in a number of international film festivals, some of them are available here! https://vimeo.com/user3267207/videos
